Rental information
- Blue Easy Rent is present on both shores of Lake Como, in Pianello del Lario (nautical base) and Dorio (by reservation only), every day from April to October from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Reservations are always recommended (minimum 2-hour rental) directly on our website or by phone
- A boating license is not required to rent; only that you be at least 18 years old, an identity document, and a deposit in cash or credit card (no debit card).
- Sailboat rentals require sufficient experience, which will be verified upon departure.
- The maximum number of passengers allowed applies to all ages.
- Departure and return must always take place from our base, we do not deliver boats to other locations.
- Small dogs are allowed on dinghies, with the customer providing covers for cushions and tubes.
- Upon departure, you will be provided with all the information you need for a perfect navigation.
While cruising
- It is the renter’s responsibility to comply with all applicable rules and regulations and to plan their return in advance.
- Navigation must always take place at least 150 meters from the shore.
- If you are not experienced in navigation and the lake, it is always advisable not to moor in other docks.
- Mooring in Bellagio, Varenna, or Tremezzo is not recommended and is difficult. The renter is responsible for the vessel’s navigation and mooring.
- Water skiing or towing of any kind is not permitted.
Upon return
- Upon return, the actual fuel consumption will be calculated and, if no damage is found, the deposit will be refunded.
- The average fuel cost for a 2-hour dinghy rental is €25, a 4-hour rental is €45, and an 8-hour rental is €60.
- For multi-day rentals of the Comet, a flat rate of €50 will be charged for fuel and cleaning.
- The release time for the credit card deposit depends on your bank’s terms.
Cancellation Policy
- Up to 3 days before departure: free of charge
- Up to 24 hours before departure: 50% of the rate
- Within 24 hours before departure: 100% of the rate
- No refunds are available for late check-in, early return, changes to plans, or adverse weather forecasts
