Pianello del Lario – Our home on the lake

Pianello del Lario is one of those places where Lake Como shows its most authentic side: tranquil, bright, and surrounded by mountains that seem to protect the landscape. Here, the lake is wide and open, perfect for exploring its waters in complete freedom.

Pianello Bay is beloved for its intense colors, the light breeze that accompanies the early morning hours, and the calm of the afternoon, when the water becomes a mirror perfect for photography or simply being lulled by the view. It’s the ideal starting point if you want to experience the lake in peace and space, away from the more crowded areas.

Dorio – The wildest and most panoramic departure point

Our second base, in Dorio, offers a completely different atmosphere: wilder, more vertical, more scenic. Here, the mountains drop steeply to the water, and the lake is squeezed between rocky walls, creating spectacular views.

Departing from Dorio means immediately immersing yourself in a vibrant landscape of contrasts, intense colors, and deep water. It’s the perfect starting point for those seeking a more dynamic experience, surrounded by the most impressive natural landscapes of the Lario.

Whether you choose Pianello del Lario or Dorio, each departure point offers a different—but always thrilling—way to discover Lake Como from its most privileged vantage point: from the water. From both locations, the lake opens up before you with unique panoramas, ready to transform a simple boat trip into a special memory.

At the Pianello del Lario nautical base, you can rent both dinghies and sailboats, while in Dorio, only dinghies are available for rental.
